Former neurosurgeon and now a medical exeminer. Megan Hunt was a brilliant neurosergeon until a life-changing car accident prevented her from continuing to work in the operating room. Now she uses her medical knowledge and investegativ instingt to solve the medical mysteries of the dead.




Peter Dunlop- Nicholas Bishop
Former police officer and now medico-legal investigator. After a gunshot ripped through his shoulder during a store robbery. Peter is now working as a partner for Dr. megan Hunt as an investegator at Philadelphia's mystery medical cases. Peter was adopted as an infant after his biogical mother died from a hemorrage after giving bith to him and his father placed him up for adoption because he could take care of him.




Dr. Kate Murphy - Jeri Ryan
Cheif Medical Examiner and Megan's superior. She is the first female cheif M.E in Philadelphias history.

Eathan Gross - Geoffrey Arend
Forensic pathology fellow. Ethan is the youngest and most enthusiastic guy working in the medical exeminer's office.



Curtis Brumfield - Windell Middlebooks
Deputy Cheif M.E ; bulsory but capable and intelligent.



Bud Morris( Detective) -John Caroll Lynch
A hardheaded , straight shooting veteran of the Philadelphia homicide division, he fight for justice on the streets of philly. He often clashes with Dr. Megan at the crime scenes over their different views.




Samantha Baker (Detective) - Sonja Shon
Partner of Bud Morris. A cool chick with the intention to fight the crimes.
